Customer Reviews

Alot of information in one book by Mary
There is alot of information in this book. One thing that makes this book different than the other GF books I have read: it lists the different products and where you can purchase these products either by phone or internet. The descriptions of different kinds of flour and where to purchase them is wonderful.

Maybe—- by Wildflower
This might be a good purchase if you’d like to avoid using the internet. As a newly diagnosed celiac, I found tons of information on the net so seldom refer to this particular book.

Gluten-Free Diet by J. Kieffer
I was just diagnosed with Celiac so the information in this book is all new to me. The book is comprehensive, but not a “sit down and read” type book. I use it for what it says it is, a “Resource Guide”. I would recommend this book as a starter, but I have ordered other books to learn, again, how to cook and eat for my “wheat free diet”.

Separating the Gluten Free From the Wheat/Chaff by BeatleBangs1964
Be sure to make this book your best friend if you want good, comprehensive information about enjoying a gluten free lifestyle. This Godsend of a book is a book many have prayed to see for years. It is replete with useful information and tips that can be readily applied to maintaining a gluten free regimen. Shelley Case is someone whose research and facts gibe and you can count on her for accuracy along with Bette Hagman, another top contender in providing recipes and information for living the gluten free life.

One thing that distinguishes this book from among others on this subject is that readers learn about Canadian as well as US packaging of food products. Readers will appreciate the web sites Case has included with further helpful information. This book is one that everybody who is interested in maintaining a gluten free regimen will treasure. Readers will also benefit from her information about a myriad of related topics from food processors to packaging to baking and other food preparations. This book is ideal not only for people with celiac disease, but for anybody who is serious about eliminating gluten from their diet. Truly a shining gem!
