I love everything “Martha” because she just does it all right. This book is no exception. There is a recipe for any type of cookie you can imagine and they are sorted into sections depending on the type you are looking for. There is even a “picture index” showing all the cookies. I’m not a master baker but the directions are simple and very clear. I can’t wait to make every cookie in the book.

Martha Stewart Living has done it again!! After watching Cookie Week on Martha Stewarts daytime show a few weeks ago I couldn’t resist ordering this cookie cookbook. It arrived a few days later and I now have a new hobby. I make a cookie recipe a week and just love it!! So far I’ve tried the Thin and Crispy Chocolate Chip Cookies, The Chocolate Thumbprints and the Macaroons. Every recipe is easy to follow and make and the results are amazing. I highly recommend this for your cookbook shelf and even as gifts for birthdays and holidays. You could even bake a batch and make it a package gift of cookies and cookbook!!!

I was so excited for this book to come out, and I wasn’t disappointed when I picked it up the first day it came out. It’s organized by cookie type and has wonderful pictures that let you see what things are supposed to look like. :-)

Some of the recipes I do recognize from magazines/holiday issues, but I love that they have been compiled into a solid book that I can keep at hand and not have to dig through a pile of magazines or papers to find.

So far, everything is delicious!
