Editorial Reviews

Product Description:
200 time-saving recipes from bestselling cookbook author and Food Network celebrity chef Robin Miller that allow you to “Quick Fix It” your way to get home-cooked meals on the table every night, no matter what your schedule.Robin to the Rescue contains recipes organized by course/main ingredient so you can find recipes for what you’re in the mood for fast. For ease of planning, each recipe says how long it will take to prep, active cooking time, and walk-away time (the time a dish can be left to cook without your supervision). A new feature for this book will be that each recipe will allow you to Quick Fix it your way, namely it will tell you how a particular recipe can be turned into a Meal Kit; prepared in a slow cooker; doubled up so you can bank a batch in your freezer for nights when you have no time for meal preparation at all, aside from pushing buttons on the microwave; and/or morphed into another meal you can enjoy later in the week. Robin to the Rescue is a uniquely versatile book, allowing the reader to tailor recipe prep to her own particular needs.

just ok by Christina Tipton
This book was ok, I thought it would be better since her first book was good. I would save your money though as this book was just ok.

Great, flavorful recipes for the way we eat today by T. Pieron
I picked this up at Target when it came out because most of the recipes sound like the way we like to eat; I usually have ingredients like fresh basil and cilantro, rice wine vinegar, shallots, lime, etc.,so these recipes don’t scare me off (if you want plain food, get a Betty Crocker book!) So far, I’ve tried Spicy Chicken Meatballs with Tomato Lime Sauce, Flank Steak with Parsley Basil Chimchurri, and Pan-Seared Tilapia with Mango-Ginger Sauce. All were wonderful. Next on the list to try are:

–Green Beans with Pineapple Vinaigrette

–Spanish Chicken

–Grilled Pork Medallions with Avocado-Mango Salsa

–Chile Lime Skirt Steak

–Southwest Cabbage Slaw

Neither quick nor simple by N. M. curry
Picked this up in the local grocery store. The title sold me. I was looking for something that would give me quick meals after work without using the usual condensed soup, and other convenience products. I found very few “regular” recipes that you could use to feed a family. Too many exotic ingredients and long prep times.
