Wrist watches have been used by the majority of the population for only fifty years. Pocket watches were the most prevalent timepiece before the wrist watch. The earlier watches were all based on a mechanical drive mechanism, where there was a power source (spring), and oscillating mass, hands, face and a gear system to ensure the accuracy of the time piece. As soon as I clapped my eyes on the Bugaboo (it was a bit hard to avoid as every time I opened a glossy magazine, there was invariably some celebrity walking their little bundle along the streets of NY, LA, London) I knew it was the pram I wanted. Sure, its status as a ‘must-have’ baby item was a factor but more than that, the Bugaboo just looked so damn cool.

My husband needed more convincing but on the first day of my maternity leave when I was exactly 34 weeks pregnant, we trundled off the UK department store John Lewis (we were living in London at the time) to buy our baby essentials, including the pram.

There’s not much to putting one together, as merchandisers have already created a variety of party goods and paper goods themed after the show for you to pick up and use at the party. By the way this makes a great party for you to have at a boy’s birthday party. Its also good for a girl’s party, but not as many girls seem to be interested in the Manga characters of the Yu Gi Oh television series.

The Bar Mitzvah party menu can host a balanced mix of traditional Jewish cooking and some great tasting kids treats. The Baklava is a tasty European dessert made with honey and nuts so it should fit right in at the table. You can also make chocolate baklava for the kids. The main course can be something very simple like meat and cheese wraps or pitas with a tasty cucumber sauce. Even the Bar Mitzvah boy would love them, but you can also have a pizza on hand as back up for those picky eaters. Put a twist on the traditional latkes by making Sweet Potato Latkes and serving them with a maple syrup or honey sauce. You can make them as a side dish or dessert. Last but not least add some filler items to your buffet with a tomato salad, macaroni salad and easy pick up items like dried fruits and pretzels.

There have been so many studies over the last twenty-five years about the effects of coffee that many people are confused about the real results.

For a few decades, we were told that coffee drinking was unhealthy, and now more recent studies tell us that is not true. Over 400 million cups of coffee are consumed per day in the world, so of course, this is an important issue.
The main problem is the caffeine in coffee. Caffeine is a mild stimulant, and therefore raises blood pressure and can increase heart rate. This was of concern to earlier researchers; today, researchers think the effect is so mild and short lived as to be negligible.
