A Brunch party easily fills everyone’s stomachs, but you’ll sometimes need to think a little bit in order to create or come up with fun activities to fill up the time at your craft party. Here’s one fun and easy craft party item that can fill the time at any Brunch party. It’s a little duck that came out of the egg!
Eggy Ducks
You can create a fun duck knick knack with a few commonly found craft items. Head down to your local craft store with a list of the following craft needs for your Brunch craft item; Plastic Eggs, Craft Foam, Feathers, Wiggle Eyes, Ribbon, Fine-Tip Marker, Craft Glue, and Scissors. All of these items are fairly cheap and easy to obtain. We suggest picking up a set of white or yellow colored plastic eggs, but any color is fine for your Eggy Ducks.
Begin by drawing a pair of webbed feet and a duck bill for your duck on the craft foam. Next, you can cut them out with the scissors. If you are making multiple Eggy Ducks you can use these pieces as templates for as many webbed feet and duck bills as you need.
Use the craft glue to attach the webbed feet to the bottom of your plastic egg and the bill to the side of your plastic brunch craft egg. Next, you can make your plastic egg look more like a duck by gluing some feathers to the back and sides to make a tail and wings. Give the Eggy Duck a pair of wiggly eyes using the craft glue, so he can always see where he’s going. Use the tip marker to add a couple of nostrils to your duck’s bill. Finally, if they like some guests can use the ribbon to turn their duck into a girl with a pretty bow on top.
Voila! You have a completed Eggy Duck craft project for your Brunch party! Be sure to give the kids some pieces of candy to store inside of their plastic duck, but also remind them, that the duck itself is not for eating.
